Freeing the Voice Within is a powerful 3 hr Intuitive Healing Event hosted by Valery Soltis of Lost in Sensation Therapeutic Yoga, collaborating with Shanna Snowden, Sound Healer. Our next event is April 13th from 6-9pm. Adult tickets are $60, but students and those in recovery, and/or financial hardship, please join us and pay at a reduced rate of $40.

- Opening Circle - 20 min

- Throat Chakra Yoga & Breathwork - 60 min

- Break - 10 min

- Tension/Trauma Releasing Exercises - 20 min

- Sound Journey - 60 min

- Closing Circle - 10 min

Hi, I am Valery Soltis, of Lost In Sensation Therapeutic Yoga. I am an ERYT-500 Yoga Alliance certified instructor and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider. However, I am not offering continuing education credits for this particular event.

Freeing the Voice Within is an Intuitive Healing Event that incorporates my experience and study of yoga postures and pranayma (yogic breathwork), but the focus during this healing event is using these postures to move energy so that participants can experience an emotional and physical release of tension and trauma from their bodies. Be ready to have some fun, make noise, release and let go! 

 My knowledge of trauma began with a training on trauma-informed yoga. Much of what I have to share about releasing trauma/tension from the body has been through self study, intuitive exploration, and hundreds of hours of practice. If you have been diganosed with PTSD or have unresolved trauma, I highly encourage you to speak with your mental health therapist before attending and be sure that you are ready to experience a trauma release in a group setting.

Shanna Snowden will be guiding our Sound Journey, playing various instruments in the Shamanic tradition. She has over 20 years of experience in sound healing, earlier in her sound carreer, she  studied and worked as a music therapist. She is also owner of a beautiful herb shop, The Hummingbird Apothecary, offering an alcohol free space to socialize and find community and connection. Shanna is an intuitive healer and will be offering other forms of her magic throughout the evening.
