Thank you for visiting my website! My name is Valery Joy Soltis. I am sole proprietor of Lost In Sensation Therapeutic Yoga. The name Lost In Sensation came about authentically when I was writing session notes for a private client. I explained to her to hold a pose until she felt "lost in the sensations." When you're lost in sensation, it's like being "lost in the moment," or in the "flow state;" a mental state that is free of judgement and lacks concern of time. This state allows you to experience your own spiritual connection, insights and awareness.

Many of my students have said that not only have I helped them to release tension and trauma from their bodies, but I've also helped them to really listen to their bodies. While our bodies do keep the score and require a release of tension and trauma, our bodies also connect us to our intuition and to our higher selves.

My private sessions are intuitive healing sessions which expand beyond my yoga teaching credentials. While I do incorporate tools that I've learned through my studies of yoga, I also incorporate tools that I've learned through self-study and exploration.

If you choose to experience a private session with me, I will guide you to release tension and trauma from the body using a variety of tools including: yoga postures, breath work, neurogenic tremors, energy work, expression of emotion, affirmations and visualizations. 

In addition to private sessions, I am currently offering Intuitive Healing Events, collaborating with Sound Healer, Shanna Snowden and Reiki Master, Josh Hinkin. This is a powerful group healing experience involving connecting, release and renewal. From time to time, I also offer Chakra Yoga workshops, in which participants can obtain Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Units. And keep your eyes open for upcoming retreats as well!
